PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the effect of an impedance loss by electric devices connecting to a power transmission line and of noise generated from the electric devices in the power line carrier communication. SOLUTION: The filter device is configured by inserting a filter circuit 12 consisting of a low-pass filter that provides a higher impedance with respect to a carrier frequency when viewing a power line L than the impedance of electric devices, provides a higher impedance when viewing the electric devices to a noise generated from the connected electric devices and provides a low impedance with respect to a commercial power frequency between a blade receptacle of a plug socket section 13 and a plug blade 10 in a connector 11 from which the plug blades 10 to be plugged into an existing power plug socket are projected in one direction and which has the plug socket section 13 to which blades of the plug of a power cord of the electric device are plugged in.
