Abstract: In the work we have considered the surface photostimulated processes in single- and polycrystals AgHal, CdS, ZnS as well as in the films of Cd$-s$/Zn$-1$MIN@x$/S resulting in a formation of information storage centers - metallic clusters (Me)$-n$/ with n $EQ 2,3,... $LS 10. Mathematical simulation of the surface migration of the adsorbed metal atoms has been performed. Prospective media for the storage of optical information are suggested.!5
