Abstract: In present work the peculiarities of preparing ofsingle crystalline thin films (SCFs)Y$-3$/Al$-5$/O$-12$/ by liquid phase epitaxy techniqueand its light emission characteristics in differentspectral regions are investigated. These films areluminescent screens for cathode ray tubes with highresolution prepared on base of Y$-3$/Al$-5$/O$-12$/doped by rare-earth and isoelectronic impurities. Theadvantages of these screens over bulk crystalline andpowder analogs have been shown. The possibilities ofcathode ray tube application with SCF screen in rasteroptical microscopes, proectional systems and originaldevices for processing of color images from PC display(computer slider) are discussed.!9
