Vibro-acoustic modelling - where we are, where we should go, and how?

The paper presents an overview of method for computer modelling to predict the acoustic and vibro-acoustic behaviour of interior and exterior fluid regions and their interaction with structures: simplified and semi-empirical approaches, geometrical and energy-based methods (acoustic ray-tracing, statistical energy analysisi,...) and wave-based methods (structural finite elements, acoustic fintie elements, boundary elements, infinite elements,...).
