摘要

A new coating method (dissolving-coating method), different from the traditional coating method, was designed to prepare carbon black coated electrically conductive polyester fibers. The dissolving-coating method is on the basis of dissolution mechanism and the coated fibers prepared by this coating method have the characters of low electrical resistivity (9.6 X 10~0 Ω .cm) and permanent conductivity. The mechanical property was measured and the surface of the coated fiber was observed by SEM. The effects of composition of coating mixture, temperature and number of washing cycles on the volume resistivity of coated fiber were investigated.
