摘要

The technology of industrial field-bus is developing very fast, and industrial Ethernet combined with fieldbus has being applied into industrial control system. However, there still are some obstacles in real-time and certainty performance when traditional Ethernet applied into field plant network. EPA (Ethernet for plant application, proposed by China) utilized real-time communication model for application level and other technologies and then make the industrial Ethernet be able to be applied into control system of field plants. Nevertheless, it is also necessary to improve the real-time performance of EPA. A new intelligent real-time communication model based on artificial neural network is proposed to perfect the current communication methods of EPA. The simulation shows that the new communication model can work well and the real-time performance is better than EPA.
