By proposing a method of exploring with symmetrical source Rayleigh wave,modifying the single source geometry of Rayleigh wave exploration to the symmetrical source form at both ends of the array,so more shots record can be acquired at same array.Then,the average of phase can be calculated from the phase difference which is extracted from the symmetric shot records,and then it's used to calculate the phase velocity.The phase distortion caused by geophones and seismographs can be corrected with the method of stacking phase difference,the ratio of the phase signal to noise will be progressed effectively,and the stability of the dispersion curves can be improved efficiently.
