Role of technical justification in inspection qualification as proposed by the European network for inspection qualification

Inspection qualification is an important tool in order to guarantee the fitness-for-purpose of in-service NDT inspections conducted in nuclear power plants. One of the major achievements of the European Network for Inspection Qualification (ENIQ), composed of European nuclear plant operators, service vendors, qualification bodies and manufacturers, was the approval of the European Methodology for qualification of non-destructive tests.
