Treatment of organophosphate nerve agents, current therapy and future prospectives

摘要

Dramatic improvements in the treatment of organophosphate poisoning have been made over the past few years. Additional exciting advances which will hopefully be fielded in the future, are currently at various stages of development in various countries. Although many of these improvements can be easily demonstrated in the laboratory, advances are difficult to transfer in a practical sense to man, due to the requirements of drug regulatory agencies responsible for licensing and human safety.
