Objective of this work is to study the change in quality of SSP, which provides phosphorus, an essential element for growth, in the form of water soluble P_2O_5 to the plant, and the conversion of it's total P_2O_5 to water soluble P_2O_5, by changing process parameters and curing time and to optimise the process parameters. The optimum process parameters were noticed as: 1. Rock grade =70/72 2. Strength (dilution) of acid =65% 3. Acid (98%) to rock ratio =0.60 Using these parameters five per cent improvement in conversion along with good physical appearance was noticed.
