The kinetics of the gold extraction from hydrochloric solutions has been experimentally studied by means of the XAD-7 resin. The internal diffusion, as limiting rate step of the adsorption kinetic, has been determined using the shell progressive theoretical model. Using the same model, the gold diffusion coefficient for aurochloric complex in the resin has been determined.
