An Overview of Testing Single Coat Coatings to MIL-SPEC 23236C

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has initiated a program and developed a test methodology to investigate and evaluate single coat/rapid cure coatings for corrosion control of shipboard ballast, fuel, combined holding, and potable water tanks. This program is used with the intent of shorter production and cure time, resulting in less cost and down time for Navy vessels.
