摘要

This work regards the ethylene polymerization using a-diimine Ni catalyst activated by methylaluminoxane and alkylaluminum halides. It is shown that methylaluminoxane (MAO) and ethylaluminum ses-quichloride (EASC) are able to activate the studied catalyst, leading to similar catalyst activities and polymerization rates. It is also shown that the catalyst performance is very sensitive to modification of the polymerization conditions.
