Cable Net Structures in Mid-Twentieth Century Architecture

This paper examines the use of cable net structures in architecture. The timernperiod of most of these buildings were in the 1950’s through the 1970’s The paperrnexplains how this structure found its way into architectural design, the majorrnachievement accomplished using this structure, and finally discusses why cable netsrnare rarely used today.
