Graphene Surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) provide bright prospects for new type of continuous and tunable terahertz source. Graphene SPPs can be excited by free electron beams which have many advantages for excitation and can make terahertz radiation source continus and tunable. In this paper, the excitation of graphene with obliquely incident free electrons is studied, and its response under THz-TDS system and its influence on the graphene Fermi energy level are analyzed and observed directly in experiments. It is significant for electron beams driven terahertz radiation source.
