摘要

In this article, an adaptive phasor particle swarm optimization (APPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve combined emission economic load dispatch problem. The proposed method is an enhanced version of existing phasor particle swarm optimization (PPSO). To enhance the performance of PPSO, an adaptive improvement factor is considered. some case studies on economic load dispatch (ELD) and combined emission economic dispatch (CEED) are considered to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
