摘要

In this paper, analytical solutions for displacement and stresses in thin-walled functionally graded material rotating disk with variable thickness subjected to internal and external pressure are obtained using the infinitesimal theory of elasticity. The material properties and thickness of rotating disk are assumed to be exponentially-varying in the radial direction. The governing differential equation in radial displacement is solved in terms of generalized confluent hypergeometric equation. The effects of mechanical load on displacement and stresses are graphically presented.
