Reform Proposal for Higher Education Curricula

摘要

In this work there is a proposal for the curricula reform in Higher Education, an area in which on one hand research is primarily developed and on the other, knowledge, science and technology are produced, in order to acquire a serious humanitarian dimension, capable of equipping scientists with global knowledge as well as awareness of the critical situation for the humanity, of life, and planet, which involve rapid developments in the major issues we face: nuclear, climate change, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence. This is a measure and an attempt of self-control in the use of scientific achievements which, more than any era in the past, are being developed at an unimaginable speed, without giving enough time to society and humans even to realize the forthcoming changes and the dangers of their reckless use.
