The high speed bogie SF 500 is used in all Velaros of Siemens. Being in worldwide operation, the bogie has to cope with many different operator requirements. The bogie was developed in Graz/Austria -the Siemens bogie world competence center, which can look back on 150 years of experience in railway rolling stock manufacturing. Expert knowledge in design and manufacturing as well as the use of high-tech components created a bogie that stands for maximum safety, maximum ride comfort and excellent cost efficiency.
