STUDY OF EVALUATION TECHNOLOGY FOR DVI SAFETY IN AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE

摘要

Autonomous vehicle can drive itself from departure to arrival with no manual input from the driver. Autonomous vehicle is no longer just movie of scientific fiction and it will be appeared near future. But it is still not sure that autonomous vehicle is how safe or not. So it is necessary to evaluate for safety of autonomous vehicle. DVI means Driver-Vehicle Interface in autonomous vehicle. DVI could be one of the most important and complex system within autonomous vehicle. Especially, it is very important in level 3 automation stage when the driving control is changed from vehicle to driver. In this paper, the trend and research of DVI for autonomous vehicle is investigated and the direction of new DVI R&D of Republic of Korea is introduced.
