摘要

The paper is dedicated to design and test of dog-clutch gearshift mechanism of passenger car gearboxes for usage with external synchronisation. The target of presented work was to develop the shift mechanism with a simple design, featuring short shift time, compact dimensions and allowing the internal architecture of gearbox similar to the classical manual transmission. As first example was designed and manufactured simple dog clutch with Maybach fronts. To observe the real life function the prototype of the Maybach dog clutch was assembled into the passenger car gearbox between the III and IV speed. The transmission was equipped with external synchronization device. The gearshift tests were conducted on new flywheel test stand equipped with pneumatic shift robot. The test results presented in this paper are focused on the ease of the shift, shift time and shifting force depending on the difference of the speed between shaft and shifted speed.
