Empirical Analysis on the Cross-border Transfer of Polluted Products in Bilateral Trades between China and ASEAN

摘要

The establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area speeds up the economic development of China and ASEAN. Both sides have achieved a lots in investment and trade: the expansion of trade scale, the optimization of trade structure and the improvement of trade partnership. However, negative impacts from the non-traditional security issues including. resources and environment resulted by trade liberalization become gradually obvious. Resources consumption, environment pollution and ecological deterioration have been important factors which affect the healthy development of the free trade area. This paper analyzes the trades of pollution-intensive products between China and ASEAN and the cross-border transfer of pollution caused by it.
