Study on Integrated Cost Management of Total Factors and Total Process in Construction Projects

Cost management, which can enhance the level of construction project management and improve economic benefit, is the most important aspect of construction project management. Modern construction project management should not only pay attention to vertical management at every stage of life-cycle, but also emphasize on horizontal linkages of every element. On the basic of understanding the process of life-cycle and every element in project, this paper mainly analyzes the principles of life-cycle in integrated cost management and the relationship among three important elements: schedule, cost and quality. At the end, the paper introduces a pattern about integrated cost management covering all processes and all factors of a construction project.
