A revolutionary new algorithm to predict daily and mean monthly optimum slopes, βopt, of an absorber plate variously oriented at any location from the North to the South poles is developed at the University of Botswana. Based on this algorithm, a special software is introduced. For' clear, cloudless conditions the daily β_opt are found to have symmetry features which reflect the symmetry of the motion of the Sun and the North-South symmetry about the Equator. These symmetry features of the bopt are discussed. The effect of cloud-cover on the β_opt is investigated. Specific "latitude days" zones of the β_opt annual variation are plotted and interpreted. A simple method for obtaining the βopt for clear, cloudless conditions and for mean monthly meteorological data for any location is suggested. The method is based on two figures presented in this paper. The variation of the daily β_opt for clear, cloudless weather, and the mean monthly β_opt for mean monthly meteorological conditions, at four different locations namely, London (United Kingdom, ф = 51°); Eismitte (Greenland, ф=71°); Makoua (Congo, ф=0°); Capetown (South Africa, ф=-34°) are investigated.
