An energy study for an office building in Greece in accordanceto the 2002/91/EC directive

As the impact of climate change in everyday life becomes more evident, energy consumption in buildings gains more importance than ever. Regulations and standards worldwide tend to embody detailed energy analysis of buildings, setting limits to their energy consumption increasing energy savings. The Directive 2002/91/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2002 on the energy performance of buildings gave an impulse to energy studies of buildings and opened the way for the sanction of building energy certification in Europe.
