As a global strategy for strengthening organizational competitiveness of enterprise, supply chain management (SCM) is well-known since the end of last century. But with the development of information technology, the traditional supply management mode has already no longer met the needs of enterprise's development. The enterprises should fully utilize the potential of Internet to build their own enterprise information portal (EIP) which could offer every stakeholder a unified portal of entering information center. Furthermore, the enterprises should take EIP as a core to integrate the various information systems, thus to set up the collaborative commerce platform (CCP) which could help enterprise improving production efficiency and enhancing the core competence. This offers a great opportunity to SCM for enterprises. Drawbacks of the traditional management, SCM based on Internet, EIP and the integration of information systems, also called CCP, were discussed in this paper. Besides, we propose a new framework of SCM, which realize the efficient SCM by integrating the business points of suppliers, contractors, manufacturers, distributors and customers.
