The Comparative Study of Contract Signing Protocols

Electronic contract is an important part of the electronic commerce, the security of contract signing is a key issue for the academia and business. Several notable contract signing protocols are analyzed detailedly, their signature schemes and characteristics are compared. The security properties of the contract signing protocol are explained thoroughly based on the design demands of the digital signature schemes. The trusted third party (TTP)'s function and role are analyzed. Finally, some directions for future research are proposed.
