This the problem of a computer simulation of the atmospheric descent of a reentry spacecraft with small asymmetries is considered. The aim of the study is to obtain an algorithm for predicting the resonance in the perturbed rotation of a spacecraft with small asymmetries at the non-resonant atmospheric domains in a rarefied atmosphere. The use of an averaging method allows us to analyze new condition of resonance external stability. This condition is used for predicting resonance. The methodology presented here can be used to predict the resonance in problems of the descent of the asymmetric probes in the atmospheres of the planets.
