Raw material stock optimization and implementation of Kanban system

摘要

This is a paper presenting a case study of raw material stock optimization and Kanban system implementation in a company from the automotive field. This case study comes within the framework of many problems known in terms of raw material management like obsolescence, stockout and stock coverage variation between different raw material categories.
