摘要

The aim of this paper is the development of methods and means for adequate modeling of tractive power supply systems modes for heavy-tonnage trains operation. To achieve the goal set, the Fazonord software application was used which was developed in Irkutsk State University for Railroads Communications for the modeling of power supply systems and railroads power supply systems in phase coordinates. The results of tractive power supply systems modeling were described for heavy-tonnage trains operation on the section of one of the railroads. A technique of simulation modeling was developed basing upon the system approach which allows calculation of alternating current tractive power supply system's modes including newly designed systems, while obtaining dynamics of processes development in a combined three-phase/one-phase electrical network. The computer-aided modeling showed the applicability of the technique suggested when updating the tractive power supply systems for heavy-tonnage trains operation.
