摘要

With the growth of interconnected power system in size and complexity, the dynamic stability simulation in time domain is becoming time consuming increasingly. In order to speed up the dynamic analysis to meet the needs for real-time simulation of large-scale power system, a coarse grain parallel method is purposed for solving the time-consuming sparse network solution arising from the network analysis. This method has been successfully incorporated to a conventional dynamic stability simulator. Test results obtained from a practical power system illustrated that this parallel method is capable to speedup the overall dynamic analysis significantly.
