Industrial enterprises are characterized by the railroad lines with 3.5 m distance between the railroad tracks. Today, a relevant issue for mobile railway transport located at the station areas and within the track facilities of large industrial enterprises is determining an actual position of the rolling stock with no more than 1 m error. This paper proposes to implement rail traffic management on the basis of the modular ZigBee network. It allows power-down of the entire system. The authors have developed a planning scheme of train position and the algorithm for computing the maximum permissible train speed. They propose a differential method for calculating the object location or movement.
