The paper analyzes the existing methods for calculating the equivalent circuit parameters of the induction motor (IM) on the basis of passport data. The authors consider the simplified engineering methods for calculating the parameters of the IM equivalent circuit, presented in domestic and foreign literature. The parameters of the equivalent circuit for asynchronous machines of various powers were obtained on the basis of a specialized measuring complex using experimental data. Using the developed mathematical model of the IM with a squirrel-cage rotor, the accuracy of calculating the equivalent circuit parameters of the IM of various powers was checked. The given parameters were calculated on the basis of simplified and improved methods.
