Quality Criteria for Electromagnetic Wave Absorbers - (PPT)

The depth of reflection minimum is not a suitable measure for the characterization of radar absorbers. The width of the operating frequency range cannot serve for bandwidth quantification. A correct approach to define bandwidth performance of absorbers is the use of either fractional bandwidth, or bandwidth-to-thickness ratio. No numerical criterion for the angular performance is available so far.
