PCB design guidelines of Smartphones and Tablets for EMC

摘要

This paper aims to discuss PCB design guidelines for electromagnetic compatibility with key focus on smartphone and tablet products. Component placement and Layout design which constitute an important part of PCB design are discussed herewith. A lot of best known methods are already available online but rather obscure and not specific, hence, this paper aims to summarize key important guidelines pertaining to smartphone and tablets that are obtained from working actively in design and validation of end market reference products. The aim is to avoid over designing of the products from EMC perspective.
