As the trend is moving towards clean energy sources, charging of battery in Electric vehicle also going to dominate the market due to utilization of clean energy. The main issue in charging of EVs is its Charging time. One of the solutions for this is Fast Charging with proper DC-DC Converter. To get the desired performance a proper controller is required for converter. This paper presents design procedure of peak current mode controller for DC-DC Converter used in charging of electric vehicle. The proposed controller is more suitable and accurate method for the considered system. The MAT Lab/ Simulation results are presented to validate the designed constant controller for DC-DC Converter used for fast charging of electric vehicle.
