REVIEW OF URBAN HIGH-VOLTAGE CABLE TUNNEL MONITORING TECHNIQUES

In recent years, with the rapid development of urban construction in China, an increasing number of urban high-voltage cable tunnels have been constructed. However, monitoring of the cable tunnels faces new challenges owing to the length of the tunnels, the massive number of monitoring parameters, and the requirement for high reliability. Thus, monitoring systems for high-voltage cable tunnels have been studied and applied widely. This paper reviews cable tunnel monitoring techniques at home and abroad and presents a comparative analysis of the various techniques. Additionally, the future direction and application aspects of urban high-voltage cable tunnel monitoring techniques are discussed.
