A Preliminary Data / Wealth Simulation of an Information System Under Attack

A two part information system under attack is simulated. The system is split into a data component and a wealth component. Attacks against the data are then converted to attacks against wealth. Initial results suggest that the split complicates behavior of the system. In particular, in some cases, data security and wealth security interact in a non-obvious way. It appears that there is no simple rule to decide where to allocate defense efforts.
