ERP: A SURVEY OF IMPLEMENTATION IN SMALL AND MEDIUM (SME) AND LARGE INDIAN PRODUCTION FIRMS

This research study investigates enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation differences between small and medium (SME) and large Indian production firms. Odds ratio were used to examine whether a relationship existed between ERP modules implemented versus not implemented and firm size. Logistic regression models were used to examine the relationship between the implementation status of ERP modules and performance measures in SME and large firms. The results indicate that a relationship exists between ERP modules implemented and firm size; further, performance changes attributed to ERP implementations do not vary, depending upon the implementation status of specific ERP modules and firm size.
