摘要

A methodology was proposed to prepare highly functionalized poly(alkyl cyanoacrylate)-based copolymer nanoparticles by means of Huisgen 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition, the so-called “click” chemistry. As a proof of concept, model alkynes were quantitatively linked either to the copolymer in homogeneous medium followed by self-assembly in aqueous solution or directly at the surface of preformed nanoparticles in aqueous dispersed medium.
