The work reports at first a brief description of the computer suite, named NeoCASS (Next Generation Computational Aero-Structural Sizing Suite) developed using MATLAB㈢, at the Department of Aerospace Engineering of Politecnico di Milano and aiming at the structural sizing and aeroelastic analysis and optimization during the Aircraft Conceptual Design. A special attention will be focused on its aeroelastic analysis and optimization capabilities, including the aircraft optimization under nutter constraint. Finally some numerical examples to demonstrate the NeoCASS capabilities as well to validate the obtained results are also reported.
