Applying EPRI's Standardized Task Evaluation Program Implementation to Industry Initiatives

The EPRI STE program supports the nuclear industry initiative to share resources between stations by evaluating workers to a common standard that is accessible for organizations to review. With increased need for supplemental personnel to support outages, it is beneficial to both utilities and workforce provider organizations to have a pre-evaluated pool of personnel that can arrive at a station ready to work. This reduces the redundancy in training for the worker and less cost and outage preparatory time for the station and enables workforce providers to more effectively utilize their personnel to support additional outages.
