In this paper, a synthesis of L_2 reset control for continuous-time linear system is discussed. Simultaneous design of continuous-time dynamical feedback controller and stabilizing resetting rule with general jump matrix is considered via LMI approach. According to the property of the strictly decreasing Lyapunov-like function recently proposed by Nesic et al., sufficient conditions for exponential and L_2 stability are derived. It is also shown that the sufficient condition for the synthesis of L_2 stabilizing reset control is reduced to an LMI problem with a line search parameter.
