This paper reports experimental demonstration of a ceramic 1.1% Nd:YAG based diode pumped electro-optically Q-switched laser transmitter. More than 10 MW output power is achieved at 20 Hz with an input power of 3.04 kW. The q-switched energy is 95 mJ and pulse width obtained is 9 ± 1 ns. The laser output efficiency achieved in free running and Q-switched mode is 18.1 % and 15.6% respectively at 200 μs input pump current pulse width. The resonator is characterized at 10 Hz and 20 Hz.
