The Interdependence of the Natural Resource Potential of the Region and its Economic Development

A comprehensive assessment of the impact of natural conditions on economic development and, more generally, on the overall development of countries and regions is a very complex topic. Based on the data of the industrial production index and agricultural production index, we will identify the dependence of the region's economic development (on the example of the Chechen Republic) on the above indicators. Identification of this dependence was carried out using correlation and regression analysis. It can be noted that there is a dependence of the average level of economic growth on the natural resource potential, which was calculated based on indicators of industrial and agricultural production. The agricultural production factor has a more serious impact, it is also positive.
