In this paper, teletraffic characteristics of a two-dimensional cellular system using direct communication considering mobility are analyzed. The mobility of terminals is an important factor, because mobility shortens the length of time during which terminals are directly connected. We considered two mobility models. We first considered the model that there exist the points that terminals stay and tend to gather in a cell. Then, we used the random waypoint model for mobility model of terminals. For the analyses, we used some theoretical techniques. The purpose of this paper is to theoretically analyze teletraffic performance of these systems considering effect of mobility. We evaluated the teletraffic characteristics in a cell for various mobility models. To confirm the validity of the analysis, the results of simulation are also shown.
