摘要

Hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) are usually powered by two different energy sources, typically, an internal combustion engine and a bank of batteries. It is important to split the instantaneous power between the two energy sources in order to minimize fuel consumption, while the vehicle performs a given driving cycle. In this paper, this problem is posed as an optimal control problem and solved using dynamic programming (DP), the major advantage of which is that it can minimize fuel consumption globally. Finally, the DP algorithm is simulated based on PSAT. Compared with other algorithms, the results of simulation indicate that the fuel economy is improved greatly under several driving cycles.
