Robust Speech Transmission: An Overview

摘要

Robust Speech Transmission includes a variety of aspects which are well reflected by the contributions in this session. Besides new concepts in the area of error-robustness in wireless transmission, voice over IP and the implications of packet-loss are very important aspects. For all these algorithms statistical modelling of speech parameters is crucial. In the final paper of the session the impact of packet-loss concealment in speech recognition is investigated.
