Practice of Producing Non-oriented Silicon Steel in FTSR of Benxi Iron Steel Company

摘要

The paper describes that Benxi Iron & Steel Company produced the cold rolled non-oriented silicon steel from BOF to RH, to FTSR. Contrast to the traditional craft, the non -oriented silicon steel has low slab hot temperature, low finishing rolling temperature and high coiling temperature. After producing, the author analyzed lots of technical parameters, such as cast structure, the finishing rolling temperature, the coiling temperature, and so on. And the author studied how these technical parameters influence the finishing capability of product. For the first time, in Benxi Iron & Steel Company, FTSR has successfully produced non-oriented silicon steel which contains silicon 1.70wt%, 2.77wt%, 2.9wt%, 3.2wt%, and has produced high grade cold rolled semi -process non-oriented silicon steel which contains silicon 0.6wt%.
