Conversion of Solid Biomass into Fuels for Fuel Cells

摘要

Biomass utilization can be one essential contribution towards a sustainable energy system.For the time being biomass is applied mainly for residential heat production and only to a small amount also for electricity production.An increase in biomass utilization can be obtained by further promoting combined heat and power production.Besides conventional technologies based on combustion technologies high efficient and environmental friendly fuel cell technologies based on gasification technologies are possible future options.
